Biographical Note:
Ingo Linsenmann, MA, studied Political Sciences at the Universities of Cologne and Newcastle upon Tyne and has worked for the International Young European Federalists (JEF) in Brussels and Bonn for several years. Between 1999 and 2004 he was research fellow at the Jean Monnet Chair for Political Science, University of Cologne. He was involved in a project on the governance of EMU after 1999, funded by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (1999-2001), and was general rapporteur of a study carried out for European Parliament’s Economic and Monetary Affairs Committee on the implementation of the Broad Economic Policy Guidelines (2001-2002). Between 2001 and 2004 he was the responsible project manager for the FP5 project 'GOVECOR - EU-governance by self-coordination' (www.govecor.org). His main fields of expertise include EMU and economic governance, institutional matters, as well as European education and youth policy.
