Biographical Note:
Dr David Coen is Senior Lecturer in Public Policy and Director of the MSc in Public Policy in the School of Public Policy at University College London. Prior to joining UCL he was Research Fellow (1997-2001) at the London Business School, where he co-directed an Anglo-German study with the Max Planck Group in Bonn on Business Perspectives to Utility Regulation.

While at the LBS he held a visiting appointment as Lecturer in International Business at Warwick University. Previously, he was a Fellow at the Max Planck Institute in Cologne (1996-1997) working on EU Business-Government Relations and completed his doctorate thesis on "The Firm as a Political Actor in European Union" at the European University Institute in Florence in 1996.
